"The year of their marriage, they moved to Norton and all their children were born there...Before Anna married a second time, she and Judge Thomas agreed to make their wills before they wed.
This was done and Judge Thomas approved Anna's will. Some of the items of interest in the will were that Anna gave to her son Abiel the pewter that had been his grandmother Leonard's, and to her daughter Phebe, Anna gave her gold chain. Anna's estate included many colorful garments of satin, velvet, and other fine fabrics. These she gave to her daughters."
