NOTE: it is not known which of the three wives of Claudius was Julia Venissa (Genissa)'s mother. The existance of Julia Venissa as a daughter of the Roman Emperor Claudius is debatable. I have not found one historical account stating that Claudius had a daughter. However, many times daughters were overlooked in annals, and it is possible that had he a daughter, she would be married to a Brittish chief to cement the Roman overloadship of Britain (Claudius was the director of the final conquest of Britain in A.D. 43). If this is the case, I would assume that his daughter would have been wed to Arviragus soon after A.D. 43 and thus would not be the daughter of Agrippina, whom he married in A.D. 49.
